Mark Newby

Mark Newby is an experienced Offshore Installation Manager with a career spanning over two decades in the marine and offshore production sectors. Currently serving as the Offshore Installation Manager for Santos Ltd, Mark oversees operations on the FSO Liberdade at Bayu Undan. Previously, Mark held leadership roles including Managing Director at Newmar Offshore Consultants and Head of Floating Production and Operations at Bumi Armada Berhad, where responsibilities encompassed managing a fleet of FPSOs and ensuring operational excellence. Mark's background includes key positions at BG Group and ConocoPhillips, where expertise in functional management and operational support for offshore assets was demonstrated. Mark holds a Diploma in Nautical Science from the Australian Maritime College.
