Peter Hinds

Peter Hinds is a seasoned Decommissioning Engineer at Santos Ltd since December 2021, with significant experience in offshore projects including the Van Gogh Coniston Navara Decommissioning Project and the Campbell Platform Decommissioning Project. Prior to this role, Peter held the position of Lead Engineer at Subsea 7, leading critical projects such as the Woodside Julimar 2 Pipelay and Cooper Sole 12” Pipeline Hyperbaric Weld Repair. Peter's extensive background in the industry also includes roles at INPEX as a URF Field Engineer and at Fugro-TSM as a Project Engineer, where Peter contributed to various fiber optic cable projects and decommissioning studies. Peter's career began after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture from the Australian Maritime College between 1998 and 2001.
