Simon Baldwin

Simon Baldwin is an experienced executive in the energy and mining industries, currently serving as the General Manager of the LNG Portfolio at Santos Ltd since June 2023. Previously, Simon held the position of Managing Director at Green Critical Minerals from May 2022 to April 2023, and at Varr Consulting, a boutique advisory firm, from June 2021 to May 2022. Simon's expertise includes project development and marketing, as demonstrated in roles such as Project Executive at Magnum Mining and Exploration Ltd for the Buena Vista Magnetite Mine, and Vice President Marketing & Head of Commercial at Oil Search Limited, focusing on PNG LNG operations. Additional leadership experience includes heading Mergers and Acquisitions at ATCO Australia and various commercial roles spanning over 15 years at Woodside Energy. Simon holds an Executive Certificate in Global Management from INSEAD, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from Kaplan Business School, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geology from RMIT University.
