Since 1933 we started being highly specialized in cold forging and hot forging of driving components for the automotive, construction machinery, and agricultural vehicles.

In 1994, in completing our hot forging production lines we added a machining department as well as a heat-treatment section with the quench and temper heat treatment and the induction hardening. 

At the end of 2018 Sapes is acquired by ORI Martin, an Italian industrial group specialized in high-quality long products steel production. Benefiting from successful fiscal consolidation and from synergies with the new Group, Sapes from 2019 becomes a stronger and more reliable partner for all its customers.

Today in the facilities of Storo and Borgo Chiese our main product lines are the following:

- cold forged parts: steering components (tie rods and ball pins) and valve push-rods;
- hot forged parts: yokes, cardan joints, transmission shafts, input shafts, pinions, axle shafts with and without flange, twistlocks;
- semi-machined hot forged parts: transmission shafts, input shafts, pinions, sun gears, yokes;
- completely machined hot forged parts: transmission shafts, axle shafts with and without flange, components for track adjusters (hydraulic cylinders, pistons, and rods).

We are certainly in a position to evaluate special components according to customers' designs.
