Tom Feltwell

Tom Feltwell is a Tech Lead and Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at SAPI, where they build credit infrastructure and lead the engineering team responsible for merchant and partner onboarding. With over 8 years of experience across the Fintech, charity, and academic sectors, they have a strong background in product-engineering, user-centered design, and R&D software. Tom holds a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction and UI/UX and previously worked as a Senior Research Assistant at Northumbria University, where they developed technology prototypes and contributed to the establishment of a research group. They also served as a Technical Lead at Nesta, designing tools to help communities respond to challenges. Tom's academic journey includes a BSc in Games Computing and an MSc by Research in Computer Science from the University of Lincoln.
