Nick Ushio

Nick Ushio has had a long and varied career in the technology industry. In 2006, they began as Principal at ITPC (International Technology Partnership Center). Nick then moved to Osaka University in 2020, taking on the role of Specially Appointed Professor, Co-creation Bureau. At the same time, they became Project Professor, Organization for Research Promotion at Osaka Metropolitan University. In 2021, they were appointed Specially Appointed Professor, Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration Promotion Headquarters at Yamagata University, and Visiting Professor at the University of Yamanashi. Additionally, they have held the roles of Advisor at Hayden AI (2019), Business Development at SapientX (2018), Advisor at Redrock Biometrics, Inc. (2021), Business Development at Deeplite (2021), and Advisor at NFT Inc. (2018).

Nick Ushio graduated from Keio University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Sciences.
