Asa Oudes currently serves as the Global Head of Presales at Sapio Sciences since March 2025. Prior to this role, Asa held various positions at Benchling from October 2018 to January 2025, including Team Lead of Technical Solutions Consulting, Technical Solutions Consultant, and Application Scientist. Asa's earlier career includes a role as Scientific Account Manager at Genedata from August 2010 to September 2018, and as an Application Scientist at Rosetta Biosoftware from August 2006 to July 2009. Asa began professional experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Systems Biology from 2003 to 2006. Asa earned a PhD in Biochemistry from Washington State University in 2003 and holds both MS and BS degrees in Biology from Eastern Washington University, obtained in 1996.
