Markus Schmid is an experienced civil engineer with a focus on facility management and construction project leadership. Since February 2009, Markus has served as the Manager of Civil Engineering and Facility Management at Sappi, overseeing all construction maintenance activities and leading investment projects at the Gratkorn facility. Prior to this role, Markus worked as a Project Leader for Infrastructure at BHM INGENIEURE from April 2003 to January 2009. Markus holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Civil Engineering from Technische Universität Graz, earned between September 1996 and March 2003.
