Michael Browne

Michael Browne is a seasoned professional in the packaging industry with over a decade of experience at Sappi, currently serving as Director of Packaging Brands since May 2016, where responsibilities include driving revenue growth and profitability while aligning strategic initiatives with Sappi's long-term objectives. Previously, Michael held various roles within Sappi, including Senior Brand Manager for both Packaging Strategy and Paperboard, and Brand Manager for Flexible Packaging and Coated Business, focusing on growth and development of specialty paper brands. Earlier career experiences include positions at Buckman as a Sales Representative and Area Representative, as well as frontline supervisory and engineering roles at Sappi North America. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maine and completed additional education at the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
