Organisations like yours work with me to increase their international sales, expand their readership and gain a translator and marketer – someone on the outside who soon feels like part of the team with bonus cultural insights.

Your needs and wants are as unique as your fingerprint, so while translation is a core service, it usually doesn't cover what it takes to get the outcome you need. Very often I write articles, edit non-native English, conduct interviews, and provide native English cultural advice. Whatever it takes to achieve the right results.

I’m a specialist chemical translator, editor, author and occasional international speaker. I love to meet my clients in person, at industry trade shows and conferences, or even at their offices. I may even bring British treats.

Ah yes, my Portuguese surname is deceptive. It’s my married name but I’m British to the core (an original Smith).
