Bud Evans has extensive work experience in the field of manufacturing and CAD/CAM programming. Bud started their career at Dayton Progress in 2001, where they served as a Senior CAM Programmer. In this role, they created and improved NC programs for various machines using Siemens NX and NX Postbuilder. Bud also provided support to the Process Engineering and Cost Estimating departments.
After working at Dayton Progress for 12 years, Bud joined OPW - engineered systems as a CNC Programmer in 2013. Bud continued to develop their programming skills in this role until 2014.
In 2014, Bud became a Digital Manufacturing Consultant at Six Digma LLC, where they specialized in custom probing routines and machine simulation using Siemens NX. Bud also worked on defining special tooling in Teamcenter.

From 2015 to 2020, Bud worked at VMH International as a Senior Sales Engineer. Bud assisted outside sales representatives with sales demonstrations and provided technical assistance on Siemens NX. Additionally, they created customized post-processors using NX Postbuilder and trained and mentored CAD engineers and CAM programmers.
Currently, Bud is serving as a Senior Application Engineer at Saratech since 2020. Their responsibilities include assisting sales representatives with demonstrations and technical assistance on Siemens NX, creating customized post-processors, and training and mentoring engineers and programmers in the effective use of the software.
Bud Evans holds a Microsoft Certification in Access and Excel from Sinclair Community College. Bud also obtained an Associate Degree in Industrial Engineering from the same institution. Additionally, they have a Siemens NX CAM Sales Rep Certificate Tier 1, although details regarding the institution, month, and year of obtention are not provided.
