Sam Chesebrough possesses extensive experience in robotic controls engineering, currently serving as the Robotic Controls Engineering Manager at Sarcos Technology and Robotics Corporation since May 2018. In this role, Sam leads the Controls Team by mentoring and driving technical advancements to enhance product interactions. Prior to this position, Sam worked as a Robotics Engineer at the University of Utah, developing control systems for haptic feedback applications, and held research assistant positions focused on rehabilitation and simulation technologies. Additional experience includes internships at Los Alamos National Laboratory, Honeywell FM&T, and the Air Force Research Laboratory, contributing to diverse engineering challenges across multiple projects. Sam holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Robotics from the University of Utah and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
