Simon Taylor

Simon Taylor has extensive work experience in the financial and technology sectors. Simon is currently serving as the Head of Strategy & Content at Sardine since June 2022. Prior to this, Simon co-founded 11:FS in 2016 and held various roles, including Co-Founder and Head of Ventures. Simon also served as an Advisory Council Member and Founder (Secondment) at Global Digital Finance starting from February 2018.

Simon gained valuable experience at Barclays where they worked as a Blockchain R+D VP from July 2014 to June 2016, and as a VP Mobile Delivery from May 2013 to July 2014. Before joining Barclays, they worked at TSYS as an Innovation Lead from March 2010 to May 2013, where they successfully managed several high-profile projects.

Simon's career began at BT Global Services in 2000 as a Business Analyst, where they played a pivotal role in implementing the Software Development Lifecycle across the Infrastructure business directorate, resulting in significant efficiency improvements. Simon worked at BT Global Services until July 2008.

Simon Taylor studied Software Engineering at Bradford College from 2000 to 2003. Simon earned an HND degree in Software Engineering during this time.
