Eric Kummer

Eric Kummer has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Eric most recently served as the Head of Operations BPS at Sartorius Stedim Biotech starting in February 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Operations FMT at the same company from August 2019 to February 2022.

Before joining Sartorius Stedim Biotech, Eric worked at Catalent Pharma Solutions for several years. Eric started as the General Manager of EU sterile Operations in March 2013 and transitioned to focus exclusively on the Brussels site in 2015. Eric was also a member of the Catalent Senior Leadership Team during their tenure.

Eric's work experience also includes a role as the Aseptic Production Director at Novo Nordisk from 2009 to 2012. Eric managed the Aseptic Production Department for the Chartres site and was responsible for developing the production strategy for injectable insulin cartridges.

Prior to Novo Nordisk, Eric worked as a Freelance Consultant at LogiQ Consultants from 2006 to 2009. During this time, they provided consultancy services to companies facing exceptional difficulties and worked on diverse missions in diversification and external growth for small companies.

Eric's earlier experience includes a role as the Operations Director Europe at CUNO, Group 3M from 1998 to 2006, where they oversaw supply chain and production to align with the sales strategy and financial requirements. Eric also worked as a Distribution Manager at Parke-Davis, Group Pfizer from 1994 to 1998, where they managed the distribution of product ranges in the French and European markets.

At Parke Davis, Group Pfizer, Eric served as the Industrial Projects Manager from 1989 to 1994, where they initiated continuous improvement projects and implemented innovative systems for production and logistics. Eric also worked as the MIS Manager at Pratic Chegnion from 1987 to 1989.

Overall, Eric has a wealth of experience in operations, leadership, and consultancy roles within the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.

Eric Kummer earned a Maîtrise degree in Electronics, Electrotechnics, and Automation from the Université de Franche-Comté in 1984-1985. Eric then pursued a DESS degree in Applied Productics at the Institut de Productique in 1985-1986. Lastly, Eric completed a DESS degree in Business Administration at IAE France - Écoles Universitaires de Management in 1986-1987, specializing in Business Administration.
