Katherine Barry is an experienced professional in museum collections and management, currently serving as the Registrar for the Indian Arts Research Center at the School for Advanced Research since April 2024. Previously held the position of Museum Collections Registrar at the IAIA Museum of Contemporary Native Arts from October 2020 to March 2024 and served as the Registrar for Stark Art & History Venues at the Stark Museum of Art from June 2015 to September 2020, managing collections and contributing to various projects. Earlier roles included Assistant Collections Manager and Collections Intern at the Stark Museum of Art and the W.H. Stark House, where responsibilities encompassed registration and exhibition projects. Katherine's foundational experience includes an internship at SAR's Indian Arts Research Center and analytical work with the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Anthropology from William & Mary and has completed graduate coursework in Museum Studies at The Johns Hopkins University.
