Lars Gunhildstad

Lars Gunhildstad has a diverse aviation career, currently serving as a First Officer at SAS - Scandinavian Airlines since December 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Senior First Officer, First Officer, and Cruise Relief First Officer on the B747-400 at Air Atlanta Icelandic from July 2016 to December 2023. Lars also worked as a Certified Flight Instructor at Tønsberg Flyveklubb from April 2014 to July 2016, teaching students from PPL to CPL primarily on the BE-76, and served as a Flight Instructor at Aviator College of Aeronautical Sciences & Technology from 2011 to 2012. Earlier experience includes positions as a Plummer/Ground worker at Isachsen Entreprenør, and as a Plummer apprentice at Gran VVS. Lars holds multiple aviation certifications, including an MCC Certificate for the B747-400 and an EASA CPL. Educational achievements include training at various institutions such as the European Aviation Group, Flugskóli Íslands, and Bristol Groundschool.
