Tang

Tang, Carsten is an accomplished aviation professional currently serving as Captain E195 at SAS - Scandinavian Airlines since October 2024. In addition, Tang holds the position of Chairman of the Board at Køge Private Realskole, where responsibilities include strategic and financial planning at one of Denmark's largest private schools. As a Board Member at CAE since December 2018, Tang also contributes as a Type Rating Instructor for the A320 at DAT, where past roles include President of the DAT Pilot Union focusing on collective labor agreements and employee relations. With a diverse background that includes flight operations across various airlines, Tang has held multiple roles from Captain to First Officer, as well as an instructor in flight training programs. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Airline Management from City St George’s, University of London, ongoing studies in law at Aarhus University, and additional certifications in international business and military aviation.
