Cheryl Simons has over 30 years of work experience in the financial industry. Cheryl began their career at Nedbank in 1988, where they served as a Team Leader. Cheryl'sresponsibilities included capturing telegraphic transfers, letter of credits, and foreign bills for collection, as well as reconciling foreign debits with credits and balancing cash-flow accounts. Additionally, they coached and developed their team, assisting them with their daily work load. Cheryl worked at Nedbank until March 1999.
Cheryl then joined Standard Bank Group in June 2004 as a Frontline Senior Trade Officer, where they worked until April 2005.
Cheryl then transitioned to Bidvest Bank Limited in May 2005, where they held the role of Assistant Manager - Exchange Control until November 2012.
In December 2012, they joined Sasfin Bank Ltd as a Financial Surveillance Manager, a position they currently hold.
Cheryl Simons completed their High School education at Fred Norman Secondary School from 1981 to 1986. Cheryl then pursued a Diploma in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Regent Business School from 2006 to 2008. Later, from 2011 to 2014, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in the same field from the same institution, Regent Business School.
