Sharon Abney

Sharon Abney has over 20 years of professional experience in the insurance and customer service industries. Sharon began their career in 1998 as a Corporate Trainer for MidWest Security Administrators, where they were responsible for training new hires in customer service and insurance claims processing, and traveling to multiple states for all field claim offices. In 2004, they transitioned to Trane as a Health & Productivity Coordinator. Finally, in 2010, they joined SASid Insurance Development as an Operations Manager, a role they have held for the past 10 years.

Sharon Abney completed their high school education in 1976 at Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School, where they earned their Diploma. Sharon then attended Kankakee Community College from 1977 to 1979, where they studied Respiratory Therapy. In 2008, Sharon Abney earned a Certified Human Resource Specialist from Michigan State University, with a focus in HR.
