Mark Cooper is the current Director at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Prior to this, they served as a Board Member for the Regina Food Bank from June 2016 to June 2020, where they were also Chair of the Engagement Committee and Chair of the Governance Committee. From June 2015 to June 2018, Mark was a Marketing Instructor at Great Plains College, and before that they were the Chief Executive Officer at the Saskatchewan Construction Association. Mark has also been involved with various other organizations including the Government House Foundation Board of Trustees, where they served as Chair of the Fundraising Committee from April 2016 to June 2018, and the Al Ritchie Community Association, where they were Board Member and Treasurer from June 2015 to December 2016. Mark has also been a Board Member for Friends of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum from June 2011 to June 2015.
Mark Cooper has a MBA from Royal Roads University in Business and Leadership. Mark also has a Master's Certificate in Project Management from the University of Saskatchewan and a Certificate in Conflict Management from MacEwan University. Mark has a BA in Political Science from the University of Regina. Mark is certified as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute and as a Certified Mediator & Negotiator from the Alberta Arbitration & Mediation Society.
