Iain Wright

Iain Wright, P.Eng. has extensive experience in electrical engineering, primarily with SaskPower since May 2007, where Iain currently serves as a Senior Electrical Engineer focused on Transmission Operations Support. Previous roles at SaskPower include Senior Electrical and Controls Engineer, providing engineering support for power plant operations and maintenance, and clean coal electrical commissioning engineer, involved in the Integrated Carbon Capture and Storage Demonstration Project. Earlier experience includes an electrical engineering summer student position at SaskPower and a distribution project intern role at ATCO Electric, where Iain developed project designs and coordinated project activities. Iain holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, obtained in 2007.
