Senior Director Customer Operations And Service Delivery at Satcom Direct

Mark Mata has extensive work experience in the aviation and satellite communications industry. Mark started their career as a Field Service Engineer at Airshow Inc. in 1997 and worked there until 2002. Mark then joined Rockwell Collins as a Field Service Engineer, where they provided regional product support for various avionics systems and cabin entertainment systems. In 2007, Mark joined Satcom Direct and held various roles, including Technical Sales, Manager of Field Service Engineering, NorthEast Technical Support & Manager of Americas Training Programs, Director of Training, and Director of Mobile Satellite Services. Currently, Mark serves as the Senior Director of Customer Operations and Service Delivery at Satcom Direct.

Mark Mata has a Bachelor's degree in Technical Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which they obtained in 2021. Prior to that, they attended ITT Technical Institute from 1995 to 1997 and earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS in Electronics Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Mark has obtained several certifications including Security+ in January 2016, aeroIT in January 2015, Certified Technical Trainer - CTT+ in July 2014, and Network+ in June 2014.
