Mark Carmichael

Mark Carmichael serves as the Senior Director of Business Development at Satellogic, focusing on new government markets in the civil and defense sectors globally. Prior to this role, Mark was the Director of Product Management at MDA, overseeing maritime situational awareness products and their financial success. Mark also held the position of Director of Sales and Business Development at Maxar Technologies, where leadership of a specialized team led to significant growth in the Synthetic Aperture Radar market. With an extensive background at MDA, Mark has held various roles including Director of Sales and Business Development for maritime and other services, Manager of Business Development, and various technical and leadership positions in engineering. Mark holds an M.Sc. in Science from the University of the Ryukyus and a BA in Marine Science from the University of Hawai‘i System.
