Pep Gonfaus is a Senior Data Scientist at Satellogic since July 2021, with extensive experience in data analysis and computer vision. Additionally, Pep serves as the CTO of Visual Tagging Services since November 2012, focusing on providing insights from social network data through advanced image understanding technology. Pep completed a PhD in Computer Science at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from 2009 to 2012, where the thesis focused on deep image understanding, following a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the same institution earned from 2003 to 2008.
