Zach Dobey

Zach Dobey has five years of work experience. In 2014, they were an Undergraduate Research Intern at The Ohio State University. In 2015, they were a Hydrogeologist at Eagon and Associates, Inc., where they gained experience on a variety of projects such as groundwater supply, dewatering, investigation, remediation and environmental monitoring. Theirwork included hydrologic field data collection, data processing and analysis, and reporting for solid waste sites and municipal well fields. In 2017, they were a Graduate Teaching Associate at Bowling Green State University. In 2018, they were a Staff Scientist Intern at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. Since 2019, they have held various roles at Satelytics, including Data Acquisition Manager, Data Acquisition Lead, Project Scientist, and Remote Sensing Assistant.

Zach Dobey received a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science/ Petroleum Geology & Geophysics from The Ohio State University in 2015. Zach then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Geology - Hydrology, Geospatial Science from Bowling Green State University in 2017 and obtained the degree in 2020. During their time at Bowling Green State University, Zach also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Geospatial Science in 2019. In addition, they obtained a Geographic Information Systems Certificate from Columbus State Community College between 2016 and 2020. Zach also holds certifications in OSHA HAZWOPER 40 Hour and Waste Management Media Sampling.
