Ivan Ong

Ivan Ong is an experienced operations executive currently working at SATS Ltd. since February 2024. Previously, Ivan served as a shift manager and management trainee at Eggslut Singapore, where involvement in the brand's Asian launch included training staff and monitoring food quality. Prior roles included management trainee and restaurant supervisor at The Social Place Restaurant, overseeing service standards and mentoring new hires. Experience extends to Sheffield Hallam University, where Ivan mentored international students, and supervisory positions at Wasabisabi Restaurant in the UK, focusing on customer engagement and complaint resolution. Ivan began a career in hospitality at Hilton Malaysia, gaining experience in both concierge and food and beverage departments, and has also held positions as a betting cashier at Magnum 4D and server at Koh Samui Restaurant. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in International Hospitality Management from Sheffield Hallam University and a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management from Tunku Abdul Rahman University.
