Tim Wright has extensive work experience in the field of satellite geodesy and technology. Tim is the Co-founder and Director of SatSense Limited since April 2018. Prior to that, they held various roles at the University of Leeds, including Professor of Satellite Geodesy since March 2012 and Royal Society University Research Fellow from May 2006 to March 2012. Tim also served as a Research Fellow at the university from 2005 to 2011.

Tim Wright began their education in 1992 at the University of Cambridge, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Natural Sciences. Tim completed their undergraduate studies in 1995. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Oxford in 1997 to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Geophysics/InSAR. Tim successfully completed their PhD program in 2000.
