Simran Odrani

Simran Odrani has a diverse work experience. They started their career as a Research Intern at the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy in 2017. In 2019, they worked as a Research Associate at NudgeIn on a project basis. They also gained experience as a Policy Research Intern at India Migration Now during the same year.

In 2021, Simran worked as a Newsletter Editor at India Behavioural Economics Network and as a Research Assistant at NEERMAN. In these roles, they demonstrated their skills in editing and conducting research.

Currently, Simran is working at SatSure as a Junior Business Analyst, a position they have held since June 2022. They will soon transition into a role as a Business Analyst starting in April 2023.

Simran Odrani completed their Master of Arts degree in Economics from the Mumbai School of Economics and Public Policy from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from KC College, where they studied from 2014 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Simran Odrani has also obtained several certifications. In 2016, they completed a course on "The Global Financial Crisis" offered by Yale University through Coursera. In 2020, they obtained a certification in "Behavioural Insights for Public Policy" from the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. Later that year, they acquired a certification in "Data and Public Narratives" from the Rashtram School of Public Leadership.

In 2021, Simran Odrani obtained certifications in "Introduction to Industrial - Organizational Psychology" from the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), "Behavioral Finance" from Coursera, "Social Norms, Social Change" from Coursera, and "Behavioral Insights Global Course" from BIG Behavioral Insights Global. Additionally, they completed a course titled "Introduction to Behavioural Data Science" offered by Ganna Pogrebna.

Most recently, in 2023, Simran Odrani obtained a certification in "Space Power: Advancing India's Interests in the Orbits and Beyond" from The Takshashila Institution.
