Daniel W.

Daniel W. serves as the Group Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Information Security at Swatch Group since June 2011, leading various roles including Head of Group IT Governance and Senior Information Security Specialist. Additionally, Daniel is a member of the CxO Trust Advisory Council at the Cloud Security Alliance and serves on the Advisory Board for Cyber Security at the Schweizerische Akademie der Technischen Wissenschaften SATW. Daniel has also contributed to academia as a lecturer at Lucerne University of Applied Science and Arts and previously at Universität Liechtenstein. Prior to current roles, Daniel held several positions in IT and security including Teamleader IT-Security at T-Systems Schweiz, Head of Security & Network Engineering at Omicron AG, and Research Engineer at Telscom AG. Daniel's educational background includes a CAS in Business Economics for Executives and a Master of Science in Business Information Systems, complemented by a degree in Computer Science.
