Philippe Grize serves as the Director of Haute Ecole Arc - Ingénierie since August 2014, overseeing the engineering school for the cantons of Neuchâtel, Jura, and Jura Bernois, providing guidance and support to 200 personnel, including 90 academic staff and 70 engineers and technicians focused on applied research. Grize is a Member of the Board of Directors at Ceramaret SA and a member of the "Advanced Manufacturing" expert group at SATW since 2020. Additionally, Grize has been involved with various organizations including Microcity - Neuchâtel Innovation, Manufacture Thinking, the Incubateur i-moutier, and ARCM, where Philippe holds leadership roles that focus on collaboration and addressing challenges related to Industry 4.0. Grize also contributes to the Swiss Association for Horological Research and the Tornos Research Center and serves as Vice President at Parc Technologique de Saint-Imier SA, where efforts are directed towards technological development in partnership with the local commune. Philippe Grize holds a Master's degree in Mechanics from EPFL, obtained from 1992 to 1998.
