Joi Morris

Joi Morris is a legal professional with extensive experience in litigation and probate, currently serving as Counsel at Saul Ewing LLP since August 2023. Morris holds a Board Trustee position at the Cancer Prevention Initiative, formerly HeritX, since March 2015, and previously worked as Senior Counsel at Freeman Freeman & Smiley, LLP, where responsibilities included prosecuting and defending a variety of probate and trust disputes. As a co-founder of HeritX, Morris played a crucial role in advancing research on inherited cancers. Prior experience includes leadership roles at FORCE: Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered, as well as litigation positions at Sullivan, Johnson & Manfredi LLP, Mandel & Norwood, and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. Morris earned a JD from Vanderbilt University Law School and a B.S. in Agricultural Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
