Willliam E. Manning

William E. Manning is a Partner at Saul Ewing LLP, where they have practiced law for nearly 40 years, specializing in commercial litigation and advising corporations and alternative entities in Delaware. They co-manage the Wilmington office and co-chair the firm’s Higher Education Practice, providing counsel to institutions on various legal issues. Previously, Manning served as Legal Counsel and Chief of Staff to Delaware Governor Pierre S. du Pont IV and played a significant role in public education reform, including the launch of the state’s first charter schools. Manning earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Delaware and a Juris Doctor from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville.
