Christopher Sutton

Christopher Sutton has over 20 years of work experience in accounting and finance roles. Christopher began their career as an Accountant at Newstrom-Davis Construction Company in 2001, where they worked until 2002. Christopher then joined Greystone Multi-Family Builders as a Project Accountant, handling various responsibilities related to subcontractors, suppliers, and financial documents.

In 2003, Christopher became an Accounting Manager at W.E. O'Neil Construction, overseeing financial operations until 2008. Christopher then joined Dana Kepner Company, Inc. as an Accounting Supervisor for a year, and later served as the Office Manager at Jorgensen, Brownell & Pepin, P.C. from 2011 to 2012.

Christopher joined Sierra Detention Systems in 2012 as an AP/AR Administrator, processing payments and maintaining financial records. Christopher then moved on to Delta Disaster Services, where they worked as an Accounting Supervisor from 2012 to 2015.

In 2015, Christopher became a Cost Accountant at Apex Plumbing, Inc. for a year, before joining Great Hall Builders, LLC as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer in 2018. During their time there, they played a crucial role in financial management until 2021.

Currently, Christopher holds the position of Cost Accounting Manager at Saunders Construction, a role they have been in since 2022. Christopher'sresponsibilities include managing cost accounting processes and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Christopher Sutton attended Mesa State College from 1995 to 1997, where they studied Computer Science Information Systems. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1991, they attended Fort Lewis College and focused on Engineering. Christopher completed their high school education at Montrose High School from 1987 to 1989, with a college preparatory field of study. In terms of certifications, they obtained a Notary Public certification from the Colorado Secretary of State in June 1999. Currently, Christopher is pursuing their education in Information Technology at Metropolitan State University of Denver, starting in 1999.
