Amy Scruton

Principal K-12 at SAUSD

Amy Scruton started their career in 2008 as a Math Teacher at Santa Ana Unified School District. Amy then progressed to become an Assistant Principal in 2010. In 2015, they became a Principal at the same district and later took on the role of Interim Director of Secondary Education from 2019 to 2020. In 2020, they joined Saddleback High School as an Assistant Principal before transitioning to their current position as a Principal k-12 at Santa Ana Unified School District in 2023.

Amy Scruton has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University, which they obtained from 1995 to 1997. Amy also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mathematics from Union College, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. In addition, Amy has completed facilitator training at the National Institute of School Leaders and attended the USC Rossier School of Business in 2011-2012 for Site Professionals. Amy has also pursued further education at Chapman University, where they obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and at Union College, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics.
