Cesar Alvarez

Cesar Alvarez has extensive experience in mathematics education, currently serving as a Mathematics Teacher at Santa Ana Unified School District since August 2021, where Algebra 1 and Geometry are taught to high school students. Previously, Cesar taught mathematics to 7th and 8th grade students at Green Dot Public Schools from July 2016 to June 2021, and served as an 8th Grade Math Teacher at Synergy Academies from July 2014 to June 2016. Cesar's teaching career began at Paramount Unified School District, where a range of roles included Substitute Teacher and Math Teacher from 2008 to 2015, as well as College Tutor and Bilingual Instructional Assistant from 2000 to 2008. Cesar holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Education with a focus on Mathematics from California State University, Long Beach, along with a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics from California State University-Dominguez Hills.
