David Barba

David Barba has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Title III Resource Teacher and Instructional Coach at Santa Ana Unified School District since August 2017. Prior experience includes roles as an English and Film & Literature Teacher in an Independent Study Program at College-Ready Middle Academy from 2012 to 2017, and as Director of the Hispanic Youth Institute in Los Angeles with the Hispanic College Fund from 2012 to 2013. David also contributed as a writer for Creative Screenwriting Magazine between 2010 and 2011 and worked as a Senior Client Representative at Modern Video Film from 2005 to 2011, managing various client workflows. Educational qualifications include a BA in Screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University, a Master of Arts in Social and Cultural Analysis of Education, a Single Subject Teaching Credential in English from California State University-Long Beach, and a Teacher Leader Certificate in Educational Leadership from the University of San Diego.
