Hector Bustos

Hector Bustos is an experienced leader in education and public service, currently serving as School Board President and School Board Member at Santa Ana Unified School District since November 2022. In addition, Hector is a Board Member of the Behavioral Health Advisory Board for the County of Orange since September 2023, and has held roles as Communications Director and Communications Coordinator at Chispa since November 2020. Previous experience includes a position as a Congressional Intern with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute and a Field Organizing Intern for the Democratic Party of Orange County. Hector also served as Student Body President at the University of San Francisco, managing student representation and engagement with administration. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from the University of San Francisco, earned in 2021.
