Moises Plascencia serves as the Farm to School Programs Coordinator for Santa Ana Unified School District, a pioneering role in Orange County, collaborating with farmers and organizations to support student nutrition. In addition, Moises holds positions as a Professor of Anthropology at Santa Ana College and an Adjunct Professor at Coastline Community College, teaching various anthropology courses. Prior experience includes managing the Gospel Swamp Farm at the Heritage Museum of Orange County, working as a community organizer at KidWorks Community Development Corporation, and serving as a community coordinator with The Grain Project. Moises Plascencia earned a Master's degree in Cultural Anthropology from California State University, Long Beach, a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an Associate’s Degree from Santa Ana College.
