Staff 5

Staff 5 is the current Director of Educational Equity, K-12 Teaching & Learning at SAUSD. Staff 5 has been in education for over 10 years. They have experience as a kindergarten safety net teacher, a kindergarten teacher, a fourth grade teacher, and a fifth grade teacher. As a teacher, they have been responsible for interventions for students with special needs, strategic student grouping for academic improvement, after school tutoring, and weekly grade level collaboration. In their current position, they are responsible for overseeing educational equity and teaching & learning for K-12 students in the district.

Staff 5 has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies and a Teaching Credential from Vanguard University. They have also taken additional coursework in Elementary Education at Vanguard University of Southern California.

Staff 5 reports to Bianca Barquin, Assistant Superintendent, K-12 Teaching & Learning. Staff 5 works with Celeste Migliaccio - Director of Secondary, K-12 Teaching & Learning, Staff 6 - Director of FACE, K-12 Teaching & Learning, and Don Isbell - Director of CTE, K-12 Teaching & Learning.
