Ryan Muir

Ryan Muir is a skilled Senior Process Engineer currently employed at SAVA since June 2023. Previously, Ryan held multiple engineering roles at DePuy Synthes from September 2020 to June 2023, gaining extensive experience in process and biomechanical design. At FLEXcon, Ryan successfully reduced process time by 27% through the development of an ergonomics-focused mechanical clamp system. Ryan also served as the Design and Marketing Lead for the Strathclyde Chapter of Startup Grind and worked as a Brand Ambassador for Entrepreneurial Scotland, promoting the Saltire Scholar programme. As a Saltire Scholar in 2019, Ryan utilized a new skill set for professional development. Earlier experience includes a bioengineering internship at AesculaTech. Academically, Ryan holds a Master of Engineering in Product Design Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and has studied Industrial Engineering at Luleå University of Technology.
