Leah Madden

Leah Madden has extensive experience in the corporate world, beginning with their role as a Multi-Unit Operations Manager at Marriott International in 2012. During their time there, they owned the P&L of multiple retail business units at the Marriott Marquis, leading a team of 36 staff and managers. Leah was also responsible for the re-branding of a business unit, leading to record-breaking sales growth and improved profitability. In 2014, they moved to Commune Hotels + Resorts and served as a Sr. Multi-Unit Operations Manager. During their time there, they owned 4 revenue centers of the flagship Hotel Vitale during a historic $130M acquisition, leading a team of 7 management reports and staff of 60. In 2015, they moved to a Private Equity Portfolio as an Asset Manager, where they evaluated 2 corporate development deals that closed in 2017, created and managed multiple unit forecasts and reported on portfolio performance, and re-structured portfolio company to improve profitability. In 2017, they founded and served as Managing Director of Greenprint Growth Partners, offering growth strategy and financial consulting to startups and venture capital portfolios. In 2019, they joined Sava as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Development Consultant. Leah also served as a Corporate Development Consultant at Trianz, where they lead a multi-national team to develop expansion strategy for a tech and IT consultancy.

Leah Madden completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business in 2018, with a focus in Finance, Strategy, and International Business. Leah also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of California, Berkeley in 2018, majoring in Psychology and Business. Prior to this, they attended City College of San Francisco. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Mergers & Acquisitions Financial Modeling from Training The Street in 2017 and Level 1 Sommelier Training from The Court of Master Sommeliers in 2013.
