Gitana Smith has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and technology. Gitana began their career as a Cyber Security Apprentice at Unilever, where they specialized in Security Architecture and Secure by Design. Gitana worked in this role from September 2018 to August 2022. Gitana then joined BAE Systems as a Collaboration Solution Architect from September 2022 to May 2023. Currently, they are employed at Savanti as a Senior Security Consultant, starting in May 2023.
Gitana Smith completed their education from 2018 to 2022 at The Open University, where they obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Digital & Technology Solutions Professional with a specialization in Cyber Security. Prior to that, they attended Cardinal Newman College Preston, where they pursued an A Level in Computer Science, Information Technology, and Statistics.
Additionally, Gitana has obtained several certifications, including the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation and Practitioner certificates from The Open Group in February 2023. Gitana also obtained the Practitioner Certificate in Cloud Security from QA in November 2018.
