Marcus Weiland

Marcus Weiland is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and consulting roles. Since September 2018, Marcus has served as Vice VD and Deputy MD at Savantic AB, where Marcus also holds a position on the Board and is responsible for Sales and Communication. In addition to this role, Marcus has been a Board Member at Bee Analytics since March 2021 and a member of the Focus Group on Artificial Intelligence Europe within the European DIGITAL SME Alliance since January 2020, collaborating with the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre on AI initiatives. As founder of Curiative AB, Marcus provides AI consulting services, and holds the position of Chairman of the Board at Viatel Sweden AB. Prior positions include Chief Strategy Officer and various roles at Samtrafiken i Sverige AB from June 2007 to June 2019. Marcus holds an Executive MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics and a Master of Science in Computer Science from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, along with additional educational experiences at Nanzan University and Stockholm University.
