Michael Irwin

Michael Irwin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in quality assurance, compliance, and inspection management within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as Executive Director of QA- Inspection Management & Compliance at Savara Inc. since June 2025, Michael previously held senior roles at ALX Oncology and Coherus BioSciences, including Sr. Director of GxP Compliance and Inspection Management and Director of Compliance, respectively. Earlier in the career, Michael contributed to Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. as Associate Director of Compliance & Inspection Management and was involved in production scheduling and biologics operations support at Genentech. Michael earned an MBA from California State University-Sacramento and holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of California, Davis.
