Sandra Gallagher

Sandra Gallagher has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Sandra currently holds the position of Vice President of Business Operations at Savara Inc starting from January 2024. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Director and Senior Director of Project Management at Savara Inc. Sandra also has experience working at Horizon as the Senior Director of R&D Business Operations and Chief of Staff, and Viela Bio as the Director of Portfolio and Project Management. Sandra began their career at MedImmune, where they held various roles including Biologics Project Manager and Associate Biologics Project Manager. Sandra also worked as a Research Associate and Laboratory Research Technician at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Sandra holds a Bachelor's degree from St. Mary's College of Maryland.

Sandra Gallagher obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Psychology from St. Mary's College of Maryland in the years 1999 to 2003. Sandra then pursued a Master of Science degree in Medical and Research Technology at the University of Maryland Baltimore from 2003 to 2006. In 2013, they completed a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Sandra also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
