Ross Sager

Ross Sager is an experienced Plant Healthcare Specialist at SavATree since July 2022, with prior experience as an Assistant Grower at the Chicago Botanic Garden from May to November 2019. Sager's academic background includes a PhD in Botany/Plant Biology from the University of Delaware, where research focused on cell-to-cell signaling pathways in Arabidopsis thaliana as a Graduate Research Assistant from June 2008 to January 2018. Sager also conducted research at Haverford College from 2005 to 2008, examining the effects of metal cations on protein structure, culminating in a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Additional experience includes a role as an Arboretum and Grounds Maintenance Staff Member.
