Sid Browne

Chief Investment Strategist at Save

Sid Browne is an expert in systematic investing, quantitative analysis, and portfolio optimization techniques. A former full professor at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business, he headed the quantitative analytics and strategies groups at both Goldman Sach’s Firmwide Risk Management Department as well as GSAM. Later, he became the CIS and Global Head of Quantitative and Systematic Strategies at Brevan Howard. Prior to joining SAVE, he worked with Credit Suisse where he served as the Chief Investment Strategist and Global Head of Research for the Multi-Asset Systematic Liquid Alternatives Trading Strategies group. Sid holds four financial patents (all assigned to Goldman Sachs) in the areas of volatility modeling, analytic portfolio, and risk management. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, and Operations Research from New York University.
