John Kirkemo

John Kirkemo has extensive experience in acquisition and program management within the U.S. military and defense sectors. Currently serving as an Executive Acquisition Specialist at SAVI since September 2025, previous roles include Director of the Narrowband SATCOM Acquisition Delta and Senior Acquisition Manager at the United States Space Force, where responsibilities included managing critical satellite communications programs. Kirkemo's background also features positions such as Program Manager for the Weather System Follow-On Satellite Program with the United States Air Force and various senior roles within the Department of Defense, focusing on space policy and acquisition. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in National Security and Resource Strategy from the National Defense University and multiple degrees from institutions such as Kansas State University and Point Loma Nazarene University.
