Daniel Curtin

Daniel Curtin has a diverse work experience in health and safety management. Daniel has held various leadership positions in notable organizations. From 2020 onwards, Daniel has been working as the Director - H&S Risk Lead at Savills, where they are responsible for leading residential and commercial health and safety for prestigious sites and key clients across Europe and the Middle East. Prior to that, they served as the Group Head of Health and Safety at intu from 2019 to 2020, leading health and safety strategy for the UK and Spain.

Before joining intu, Daniel briefly worked as a Safety & Security Consultant at Prince's Trust International in 2019. Prior to that, they held positions at British Council, where they served as the Head of Safety & Security from 2016 to 2019 and as the Head of Health & Safety from 2007 to 2016.

Daniel also has experience as an H&S Manager at BBC from 2002 to 2007 and as an H&S Inspector at the Health and Safety Executive from 1998 to 2002. Overall, Daniel Curtin has an extensive background in health and safety management, with a focus on strategy development, operational delivery, and team leadership.

Daniel Curtin has a diverse education history. Daniel earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health from Aston University in 1999-2000. Prior to that, they completed an MSc in Forestry and Land Use from the University of Oxford in 1994-1995. Daniel obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies from Northumbria University from 1990-1993. Daniel completed their secondary education at Haileybury College from 1981-1986.
