James McDaniel

James McDaniel is a Senior Battery Storage Engineer at Savion. James has over 18 years of experience in the engineering field. James started their career as an Engineering Intern at Hunt Guillot & Associates and then worked as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer at PPG Industries. In 2010, they joined Oxy as an Electrical Engineer and worked there for four years before joining Black & Veatch as an Engineering Manager / Electrical Engineer. James has been working in the Energy Storage field for the past seven years and has extensive experience in electrical engineering design, NERC compliance, arc flash modeling, protection and coordination, feasibility studies, and podcast production.

James McDaniel's educational career includes a BS in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University.

They work with Charles Asheim - Senior Project Manager, Fallon Kider - Senior Project Engineer, and Jared Luebe - Senior Project Manager. Their manager is Gary Parker, VP, Engineering, Procurement & Construction.
